Frequently asked questions
Why does my file need a minimum size (for example 20 KB)?
Some portals reject files that are too small. DocsGinie first raises the quality, and if the file is still too small it adds a hidden padding block. The picture stays the same and the portal sees a valid file of the right size.
Which KB does the tool use, 1000 or 1024 bytes?
To be safe with every portal, the maximum is counted as 1000 bytes per KB and the minimum as 1024 bytes per KB. Your file always meets both readings.
Is DocsGinie free?
Yes. Every tool is free. Tasks up to 25 pages need no account; for bigger tasks just sign in with Google, still free.
Is it safe for Aadhaar, PAN or bank documents?
Your files are processed only inside your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. Still, only share such documents with organisations that genuinely need them.
